Do THEIR math!
Do the math for your customers!
Millions of products require a little math to know how much to buy. These products range from tacos to 2x4 lumber with millions in between (e.g., paint, stain, tile, carpet, grass seed, mulch, fertilizer, electrical wire, concrete, shingles, roofing nails, plywood, ...). The example shown is for farm fence materials. Instead of making your customers read the tiny print on your label, and TRY to do the math on their own, you can help them with a simple calculator in vCalc. It's free for the customer, and free for you, the product representative or retailer.
Link via QR Codes on Product Displays and Labels
vCalc let's you easily build online product-specific calculators. Include your product images, links to your product site and the exact specifications of your product. Then, put a QR Code on your product label that points to the calculator1. This will make life much easier for your clients.
Keep them on YOUR WEBSITE
You can go one step further and put the calculator on your own website. Just like you would embed a video, you can embed any vCalc calculator.
To get the code, click the share button in your vCalc calculator page, and then click on the Embed button. The code is provided. (see example)
Calculators to help your customers will:
- set you apart from the competition,
- increase your customer satisfaction when they buy just the right amount,
- reduce the cost of returns,
- increase sales because you calculator can include suggested companion purchases,
- increase sales because some people can't do the math, and your tool will make all the difference, and
- deepen the engagement you have with your clients by keeping them in your branded space while they figure out how much they need.
The QR Codes to calculators will also be terrific on your hardcopy advertisements!
You may not be able to provide a calculator for every possible use of your product, but even simple calculators can cover many, if not most, of the ways your product will be used.
When you were in school, you had to do the math to get the grade. When you're selling products, you need to do THEIR math to help your customers and earn their business.
