The Cooking Conversions calculator provides useful cooking conversions. Take a recipe for eight, for example, and make it a recipe for two. Conversions are important especially where the ratio of ingredients needs to be exact to get the desired taste.

Usage:
To convert one unit to another, simply select the conversion button for the units you want to convert.
Example. To convert some number of quarts into ounces, select the button: Qt-to-Oz on the tab labeled "Gal | Qt | Pt to smaller units"
The conversion equation will appear on main display showing: Quarts * 32 OuncesQuart. You will also see the inputs to the right of the main display offering a field in which to enter the number of Quarts you wish to convert.
If you type '2' into the input field and hit Enter, the number 2 replaces the input "Quarts" in the main display now shows:
2 * 32 OuncesQuart and the result appears telling you that 2 Quarts is equivalent to 64 oz.
