This calculator performs a number of computations related to combustion engine fuel efficiencies, the production of pollutants and related functions.

This calculator includes:

• distance per fuel volume (aka mpg, liters/kilometers, etc)
• generation of CO2 per gallon for various fuels: (ethanol, B20, B100, E10, Diesel, gasoline)

FUEL EFFICIENCY

On the tab labeled fuel efficiency you will find several buttons related to fuel efficiency computation. 

Fuel Efficiency -- computes the distance per volume (typically miles/gallon or kilometers/liter) measure of fuel efficiency based on total distance traveled and volume of fuel used. 

gallon to liter -- simple conversion equation from volume units of gallons to volume units of liters.  Note that you can compute any volume unit conversion by selecting a different input and output units from the units pull-downs.

liter to gallon -- simple conversion equation from volume units of literss to volume units of gallons.  Note that you can compute any volume unit conversion by selecting a different input and output units from the units pull-downs.
