The Drinks Calculator for Event Planning computes the amount of drinks needed for groups. The functions include:
- How Many Bottles of Wine: This computes the number of bottles of wine needed based on the length of the event (hours), the number of people and the size of the bottles.
It is calculated using the following formula: Bottles=People * Hours / Glasses Per Bottle
- How Many Bottles of Beer: This computes the number of bottles of beer needed based on the length of the event (hours), and the number of the people. It assumes 2 bottles per person in the first hour and one bottle per person thereafter.
It is calculated using the following formula: Number Of Bottles=f(Number Of People * Length of Event)
- How Many Bottles of Champagne: This computes the number of bottles of champagne needed based on the number of people, ounces per glass and ounces per bottle.
It is calculated using the following formula: b=n⋅OpG / OpB ; Where b- is the bottles of champagne, OpG- is the Ounces per Glass, and OpB- is the Ounces per Bottles.
- Cost of a Champagne Toast: This computes the cost of a Champagne Toast based on the number of people, ounces per glass, ounces per bottle, and price per bottle.
It is calculated using the following formula: Cost=(Number Of People * Ounces Per Glass / Ounces Per Bottle) * Price per Bottle
- Price per Bottle Budget: This compute the price per bottle that you can afford based on the total budget, the number being served and the size of the serving.
It is calculated using the following formula: PPB=(B * oIAB) / n * OpG ; Where PPB= Price Per Bottle, oIAB= Ounces in a bottle, n= number of people.
- How much Coffee to Serve a Group: This computes the amount of ground coffee needed to brew enough coffee for a group based on the expected number of servings and the serving size. The user can see the Pounds of ground coffee needed (the default), the Cups of ground coffee or the number of standard 30.5oz cans of ground coffee needed.

It is calculated using the following formula: Ground Coffee=f(n servings of Serving size)
- How much Lemonade to Serve a Group: This computes the amount of lemonade needed to serve a group based on the expected number of servings and the serving size. The user can see the volume of lemonade in gallons (the default), or see the Pounds of Lemonade Powder Mix, the Cups of Lemonade Powder Mix or the number of standard 5lb 2.5oz cans of Lemonade Powder Mix needed.
It is calculated using the following formula: Powder Lemonade=f(n * Servings per person servings of Serving size)

This calculator has different application depending on the user.
