heptagon

A heptagon is a polygon with seven sides and seven angles. Like all polygons, a heptagon is formed by connecting consecutive vertices (corners) with straight line segments. Each interior angle of a regular heptagon (where all sides and angles are equal) measures approximately 128.57 degrees. The sum of the interior angles in any heptagon is 900 degrees.

Heptagons can take various forms, and their sides and angles can have different lengths and measures, making them either regular or irregular. While regular heptagons are not as commonly encountered as shapes with fewer sides, they still have mathematical and geometric significance. In practical terms, heptagons might be found in certain design elements, symbols, or patterns.
