[Education | K-12]  This equation lets you choose a multiple of ten and then see what multiple of ten follows that number.

We're using counting integers here:

10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, ...

For example:   Enter the number 50. 

                        What comes next? 

                        vCalc will tell you 60 comes next.

This will work with negative numbers too, if you're a math wizard!

COUNTING BY TENS TO 100

You count by tens and hear it in your head like a song.

10,   20,   30,  40,  50,  60,  70,  80,  90,  100

For the real math wizard:

When you count by tens it's the same as multiplying the numbers 1,  2,  3,  4,  5,  6,  7,  8,  9,  10 by ten

1 X 10 is 10

2 X 10 is 20

3 X 10 is 30
