The Cutting Time calculator computes the time for a machine to process a length of material (e.g. cutting) based on the length being processed and the speed of processing.

INSTRUCTION: Choose units and enter the following:

• (L) Length being processed
• (vF) Speed of machine (e.g. cutter)

Cutting Time (Tc): The calculator returns the time in seconds.  However, this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.

The formula for Cutting Time is:

          `Tc = L / (vF)`

where:

• Tc = Cutting Time
• L = Length
• vF = Velocity
