   Updated every Five Minutes
The All Metals Bullion Value calculator retrieves the SPOT price for gold, platinum, palladium and silver from the markets every two minutes. It uses these spot prices to compute the total value of the bullion entered.  Bullion, in this regard, is a reference to precious metals that have been refined to 0.999 purity.

The default weight units are Troy ounces.  However, the user can select other convenient weight units such as pennyweight, grams, kilograms, pounds or even metric and U.S. tons. vCalc automatically converts the weight into Troy Ounces and then fetches the current spot prices for the calculations.

SPOT comes from /www.xmlcharts.com/cache/precious-metals.xml
