The Velocity with Drag equation computes an object's velocity after time, t, when we know the terminal velocity of the falling object.
INSTRUCTIONS : Choose units and enter the following:
(k) - the fluid resistance proportionality constant, which is dependent on the object's shape and size and the resistive properties of the fluid
(vt ) - the terminal velocity of the falling object
(m) - the mass of the object
(t) - the time elapsed
Velocity with Drag (v): The calculator returns the velocity in meters per second. However, this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.
