[Machinery] This equation is used to determine the cutting speed measured in ft/min. This is also given by 0.2618 x D x RPM.
Where:
- RPM = machine speed in revolutions/minute (RPM)
- k = constant to “correct” speed (V) and part diameter (Di ) units
- pi= the value of pi
- D1=largest part diameter (initial size)
