Number of Bulbs for Area

The Number of Bulbs for Area calculator computes the number of bulbs you need to plant a specified area (A) in flowers based on the bulb per square foot density (BP).

INSTRUCTIONS:  Choose units and enter the following:

• (A) Area being Planted in Bulbs
• (BP) Bulbs per Square Foot Density (see table)

Number of Bulbs (nB):  The calculator returns the number of bulbs to be planted in the area.

Planting Bulb Calculators

• Number of Bulbs for Area: Computes the number of bulbs for an area (e.g., 0.4 acres).
• Number of Bulbs for Rectangle Area: Computes number of bulbs for rectangular area (e.g., 14 ft x 22ft). 
• Number of Bulbs for Circular Area: Computes number of bulbs for circular area based diameter.
• Number of Bulbs for Oval Area: Computes number of bulbs for oval shaped area based length and width of oval.
