This formula provides the annual fixed compounding interest rate based on a present and future value.  The inputs are as follows:

  1. (PV) Present Value - is the initial value prior to compounding interest
  2. (FV) Future Value - is the ending value after compounding interest
  3. (n) the number of months compounding interest
