Ingredients and Benefits

Fresh Catnip Tincture.....................3 parts

Catmint (Nepeta cateria), also commonly referred to as catnip and catswort, , is an herb well known for its popularity and effects on cats. However cats are not the only creatures that find benefit in this herb. The flowering tops of the catnip plant are used in a variety of ways to treat a number of different health conditions. From stomach issues, pest repellant, stress relief and even arthritis relief, catnip is a powerful and useful plant. Easy to grow in pretty much any climate or soil condition. Many of its uses are stress relieving in some form or another. Catmint is useful for a variety of digestive issues from stomach upset, diarrhea and gas. It may also help ease menstrual cramps.

Many use catmint for respiratory issues such as cough and congestion. The anti-inflammatory properties of catmint also make it an effective folk treatment for arthritis, hemorrhoids and even to bring down the swelling associated with hives and bug bites.

Fennel Seed Tincture.......... ............3 parts

Rich in phytoestrogens, Fennel is often used for colic, wind, irritable bowel, kidneys, spleen, liver, lungs, suppressing appetite, breast enlargement, promoting menstruation, improving digestive system, milk flow and increasing urine flow. Fennel is also commonly used to treat amenhorrea, angina, asthma, anxiety, depression, heartburn, water retention, lower blood pressure, boost libido, respiratory congestion, coughs and has been indicated for high blood pressure and to boost sexual desire.

Licorice Root Tincture........ ............1 part

Licorice root contains many anti-depressant compounds and is an excellent alternative to St. John's Wort. As a herbal medicine it has an impressive list of well documented uses and is probably one of the most over-looked of all herbal wonders. Licorice is useful for many ailments including asthma, athlete's foot, baldness, body odor, bursitis, canker sores, chronic fatigue, depression, colds and flu, coughs, dandruff, emphysema, gingivitis and tooth decay, gout, heartburn, HIV, viral infections, fungal infections, ulcers, liver problems, Lyme disease, menopause, psoriasis, shingles, sore throat, tendinitis, tuberculosis, ulcers, yeast infections, prostate enlargement and arthritis.

Instructions

15-30 drops as needed.
