The Temperature Dependence of Resistivity is a linear approximation of how the electrical resistivity of most materials changes with temperature. The following formula is used: `rho(T)=rho_0[1+alpha(T-T_0)]`, where: 

• `rho_0` = resistivity at temperature `T_0`
• `alpha` = temperature coefficient of resistivity
• `T` = temperature
• `T_0`= fixed reference temperature (usually room temperature)
