The Sprinkler Required Nozzle Size calculator computes the nozzle size for a sprinkler based on the application rate, spacing, pressure and an efficiency percentage.

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:

  • (AR) Application Rate
  • (P) Pressure
  • (SS) Sprinkler Head Spacing
  • (SLS) Sprinkler Line Spacing
  • (AE) Efficiency percentage which accounts for water loss

Nozzle Diameter (ND): The calculator returns the diameter in inches.  However, this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.
