of candy you will get based on the number of houses you visit and whether the neighborhood is generous or cheap.  Yeah, we said it.  There are cheap neighborhoods that only give out small candy bars. 

The formula is based on five tests employing one child's handful of small candies (Fun Sized and Minis) to fill a quart container.  The assumption is one generous handful per house.  This yielded approximately one quart of small (mini and fun sized) candy bars every five houses.

The three main sizes of candy bars:

  • minis - 6 grams for a Snicker's Mini
  • fun size - 17 grams for a Snicker's Fun
  • full size -  52 grams for a Snicker's Full Size
