INSTRUCTIONS:  Choose your preferred units and enter the following:

  • (Fx) Force in the x direction (x component)
  • (m) Mass of the object

The calculator computes the acceleration in the x direction (ax) in meters per second squared.  However, the can be automatically converted to other acceleration units via the pull-down menu.
