The Pentahedron Surface Area equation computes the surface area based on the length of the uniform sides (a) and the height (h) from the base to the apex.  The formula for the surface area of a pentahedron is:

          SA=a(a+a2+4h2)

where:

  • SA = Surface Area of the Pentahedron
  • a = length of the sides of the base
  • h = height
