The Expense Variance Percentage calculator computes the percentage that represents the variance (V) in expenses divided by the budgeted expense (bs).

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose your preferred currency units and enter the following:

  • (V)  This is the variance or difference from the budgeted to the actual expenses.
  • (bs) This is the budgeted expenses.

% Variance in Expenses: The calculator returns the percent change represented by the variance compared to the budgeted expenses.
