INSTRUCTIONS: Choose your preferred units and enter the following:

  • (B) Diameter of the bore.
  • (P) The air pressure.
  • (R) The diameter of the rod.

Force: The calculator returns the push force (F) in pounds (lbf: pounds force).  However, this could be automatically converted to other force units via the automatic pull-down menu.
