Enter a number, positive or negative and vCalc will give you the absolute value of that number.

The absolute value is the non negative value of any real number ignoring that number's sign.

In other words:

• the absolute value of -38.7  is written |-38.7| = 38.7
• the absolute value of   22.2 is written  |22.2| = 22.2
