Winding Porosity

`eta = sqrt(Pi/4)* "d" * n_l / l_w `
`"Diameter of Wire"`
`"Number of Turns"`
`"Width of Layer"`

This equation computes the winding porosity, which we define as the ratio of cross-sectional areas.  That is the ratio of the product of the number of turns and the diameter of the wire to the cross-sectional area of the layer of the winding.

A typical winding porosity of full width round conductors is 0.8.
