The Transformer Core Geometry calculator computes the core geometry (Kg), a characteristic attribute of a transformer design. The constant `K_g` is a measure of the core size and is used to design transformers and inductors.
INSTRUCTIONS: Choose the preferred units and enter the following:
- (Ac) This is the cross sectional area of the transformer's core, where Ac = Ct*Cw.
- (WA) This is the transformer's window area which is the open air space shown in the center of the core, where WA = Wh*Ww.
- (MLT) This is the winding's mean length per turn
Core Geometry (Kg): The calculator returns the core geometry (Kg) in cm5.
