Maple Syrup is a thick liquid made from sap from maple trees. When the sap run in the trunk of maple trees in late winter, the sap can be harvested and processed into maple syrup that is both sweet and nutritious. The majority of maple syrup is manufactured in Canada, predominantly in Quebec, with a lesser amount made in the United States.
