WTI

WTI stands for West Texas Intermediate crude oil,  a well known grade/mix of crude oil.  WTI is a benchmark crude oil for pricing in a similar category as Brent crude from the North Sea. Other important oil markers include the Dubai crude, Oman crude, Urals oil, and the OPEC reference basket.

WTI containing less sulfur than Brent, and much less than Dubai or Oman. Less sulfur is referred to as lighter and sweeter when it comes to crude oil.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is a benchmark in oil pricing.  The markets fluctuate, the dollars per barrel are captured here hourly.  In a similar vein, the values of Bitcoin and gold fluctuates.  These functions captures all three and gives the up to date equivalent value of WTI in US dollars ($), Bitcoin (฿) and troy ounces of gold..
