Euros per Gram from US Dollars per Ounce

The Euros per gram from U.S. Dollars per ounce calculator computes the unit price equivalent of a product (e.g. perfume) in Euros per gram (g) based on the entered unit price of U.S. dollars per ounce (oz).

Euros per Gram (EpG): The calculator returns the price per gram in European Euros.  It uses the ounce to grams conversion and the current exchange rate.

Are you used to seeing your commodity prices in dollars per pound, but now you're in Europe.  You have two things against you.  In Europe, they sell by the gram, kilogram and metric ton and in Euros.   To make the conversion, you have to know grams per ounce, kilograms per pound and US tons to metric tons and the current USD/EUR exchange rate.   This calculator does all of this for you.  It provides the U.S. dollar per pound equivalent to Euros per kilogram. 

The formula to convert dollars per ounce to Euros per gram is:

    `EPG =  DPP * (1.0 " ounce")/(28.3495" grams") * (€ 0.912 EUR)/($1.0 " USD")`
