(ND) This is the nozzle diameter
(P) This is the pressure
(SS) This is the sprinkler head spacing
(SLS) This is the sprinkler line spacing
(AE) This is the efficiency percentage which accounts for water loss

Sprinkler Effective Application Rate (AR): The calculator returns the application rate in inches per hour. However, this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.
