The  Time Stacking Firewood calculator estimates the time required to stack firewood based on the size of the stack.  It's based on an estimation of the time to stack at 1.5 hours per cord./attachments/462e8baf-6bcf-11e6-9770-bc764e2038f2/firewood.png                        Split firewood in a loose pile. /attachments/462e8baf-6bcf-11e6-9770-bc764e2038f2/Stacked.jpg                   0.65 cords stacked in one hour

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:

  • (W) Width of Firewood Stack
  • (L) Length of Firewood Stack
  • (H) Height of Firewood Stack
  • (HPC) Hours per Cord (default of 1.5 hours)

Time to Stack(T): The calculator will estimate the amount of time.  It assumes no breaks and reasonably close distance between loose pile and final stack.  The value of 1.5 hours per cord is an observed stat.  You may work quicker or slower.  I'm not bad.  I use a wheel-barrel to shuttle the wood into my shed.  I also use a stool on the ground next to the pile to keep from bending over too much.
