Transformer Areas

The Transformer Areas calculator computes the area of the Transformer Core or the Window Area (see diagram) based on their length and width.

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose the preferred units and enter the following:

• (L)  This is the length of the core's cross sectional area or window area.
• (W)  This is the width of the core's cross sectional area or window area.

Transformer Area (A): The calculator returns the area (A) in cm².  However this  can be automatically converted to other area units via the pull-down menu.
