Cube - Surface Area

The Surface Area of a Cube calculator computes the surface area of the cube based on the equation A = 6•s², where s is the uniform length of the sides.          Cube - All sides

Face of one side of a cube is a square of dimensions s by s.  The area of a square is:

• A = s x s = s²

There are six equal sides of a cube, so the formula of the surface area of a cube is:

      SA = 6•s²

where:

• SA is the surface area of the cube
• s is the length of the sides of the cube
