The Math / Science

A mixed cost is a cost that contains both a fixed component and a variable component. The formula for the Total Mixed Cost is:

  TMC=FC+(VCG ⋅ N)

where:

  • TMC = Total Mixed Cost
  • FC = Fixed Costs
  • VCG = Variable Cost per Guest
  • N = Number of Guests
