The typical life events are:
- Sitting and reading during normal waking hours, and not to fall asleep at bed-time.
- TV watching during normal waking hours.
- Sitting still in public such as a waiting room or at a movie,
- When you are a passenger in a car for more than an hour.
- When lying down to rest in the afternoon.
- When relaxed and talking to someone.
- When sitting relaxed after a no-alcohol lunch.
- When stopped in a car in traffic.

The Math / Science
Interpret the Epworth Sleepiness Scale as follows:
- (0 to 7) - It is unlikely you are abnormally sleepy.
- (8 to 9) - You have an average amount of sleepiness.
- (10 to 15) - You possibly have excessive sleepiness. Consider medical attention.
- (16 to 24) - You have excessive sleepiness. Seek medical attention.
