The Feet and Inches to Decimal Feet converts feet, inches and a fraction into decimal feet and meters and centimeters.
INSTRUCTIONS: Enter the following:

- NOTE: The fraction portion is a pull-down menu option with a default of 0/32nd. Using this you can choose fractions of an inch including 1/32, 1/16, 3/32, 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, 1/4, .... and so on.
Decimal Feet (DF): The calculator returns the equivalent amount in decimal feet and meters.
The Math / Science
There are twelve inches in a foot, a many rulers and tape measures have a fraction of an inch down to 32nds. This function lets the user enter feet, inches and choose a fraction from the pull-down menu and then returns the decimal feet equivalent. The example above shows how 45' 6 21/32" converts to 45.55469 feet.
