The following calculator and data pages are included in any PBV site with the tag Fencing.  Tag pages contain lists of vCalc items that have those tags, Fencing in this case, and they provide information associated with the concept.  Calculators and collections are bundled functions and data that appear on one page for convenience of the end users. Equations are single function calculator pages.  Data items are either static (e.g., constants) or variable (e.g., current pricing) data items useful in equations. Datasets are tables of information. WikiClips are web content snips that are useful for recurring content such as descriptions, lists of functions or images.  These can be imbedded in any other token and allow for easy maintenance and distribution of updated information.

Calculators and Collections (4)

1. Farm Fence Calculator: Eleven (11) functions that compute material and labor estimates for farm fencing of different shaped pens, paddocks, yards and fields. This includes tension (wire and electric) fencing and post and rail fencing.
2. Objects Spacing Calculator: Four (4) functions to compute the components of on-center, evenly spaced objects which includes fence posts.
3. Snow Fence Calculator: Two (2) functions to compute the number of rolls of snow fence and the number of posts needed.  They also includes estimated cost of materials for both rolls (plastic and wood) and T Posts. 
4. Post and Rail Fence Calculator: Nine (9) functions to compute the number of posts, rail, labor (time), and material cost estimates for linear, rectangular and circular fences.

Equations (29)

1. Area Fenced in Polygon: Computes the length of the fence line based on the shape of the fenced in area (number of equal length sides) and the area size.
2. Circular Fence Calc: Computes the diameter, number of posts, rails, perimeter and area of a circular shaped fenced area (paddock). Use this if you know how many segments you have and want to fence-in a roughly circular area.
3. Concrete around Circular Post: Computes the volume of concrete needed around a number of circular posts in circular holes. 
4. Concrete around Square Post: Computes the volume of concrete needed around a number of square posts in circular holes.
5. Feet and Inches Diagonal: Computes the diagonal of a rectangular area based on the length and width.
6. Fence Needed for Circular Area: Computes the number of posts, number of sections, sides or panels, number of rail boards, perimeter and area of a ROUGHLY CIRCULAR shaped area (paddock) based on a diameter and length of sides. Use this if you know how many posts you have and want to know the size of the paddock.
7. Fencing Needed for Polygon Area: Computes the area and side length enclosed within a polygon (e.g. octagon) shaped area (paddock).
8. Five Sided Land Fencing: Computes the number of fencing segments or posts and rails or horizontal boards needed to go around a five sided fence area. 
9. Four Sided Land (not square) Fencing: Computes the number of fencing segments or posts and rails or horizontal boards needed to go around a four sided fence area that is not necessarily squared.  
10. Ideal Spacing below Max: Computes the ideal even spacing over a length or distance based an a maximum spacing.
11. Labor Cost to Dig and Set Posts : Computes the approximate cost of labor in digging and setting fence posts based on the length of the fence, uniform distance between posts, method of digging (by hand, power auger) and the hourly labor pay rate (DPH).
12. Length Spanned by Evenly Spaced Objects: Computes the Length covered by a number of objects (e.g. posts, studs, joists, rafters, trusses, lights, rebars) that are evenly spaced at a distance.
13. Number of Evenly Spaced Object: Computes the number of objects that can be evenly spaced over a  Length.
14. Number of Posts and Rails: Computes the number of fence posts and rails needed for a length of wood fencing.
15. Number of Posts: Computes the number of posts needed for a length of fence based on the spacing.
16. Number of Rails: Computes the number of rails needed for a length of fence based on the length of the rails and number of rows.
17. On Center Spacing: Computes the even spacing between a number (n) of objects (e.g. posts, studs, joists, rafters, trusses, lights, rebars) over a specified length (L) or distance.
18. Oval Shaped Land Fencing: Computes the number of fencing segments or posts and rails or horizontal boards needed to go around a roughly oval shaped fence area. 
19. Radius Around Fenced Area: Computes the radius of a circle around a roughly circular fenced area based on the number of fence sections and their length.
20. Rectangle Area Fencing: Computes the length of the perimeter, area and diagonal length of a rectangle field or area based on the dimensions (length and width). It also computes the number of posts or fence segments based on the length of the segments or separation of the posts.
21. Semi-Circle Area Fencing: Computes the fencing materials needed to enclose a roughly semi-circular area based on the diameter, length of fence segments and the number of rows of rails.
22. Snow Fence Rolls Calculator: Computes the number of rolls of snow fence are needed for a fence line.   It also estimates the cost of the fencing.
23. T Posts for Fence Line: Computes the number of T Posts needed for a fence line.   It also estimates the cost of the posts.
24. Three Sided Land Fencing: Computes the number of fencing segments or posts and rails or horizontal boards needed to go around a three sided fence area.
25. Time to Dig and Set Post: Estimates the low-end (optimistic) estimate of time to dig and set posts for a length fencing based on the distance between the post and the whether their dug by hand or with an auger.  This means few or no rocks or tree roots.
26. Townhouse Fencing: Computes the length of the perimeter and area a rectangle yard including a building based on the dimensions (length and width) and the building width.  It also computes the number of fence segments needed for the fence.
27. Wire Fence Cost Estimate Computes the materials and costs of a high tension wire fence.
28. Wire Fence Materials: Computes the materials needed for a high tension fence.
29. Wood Fence Cost Estimate: Computes material costs for post and rail fence based on the number of posts and rails (above) and unit cost pricing.
