The Rebar Diameter function returns the diameter of the cross-section of a piece of rebar based on its size (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,14,18).
INSTRUCTIONS: Choose the following:
(rS) The size of rebar which is used to compute the diameter for lapping considerations.
(lF) The lapping factor is the multiple of the diameter of the rebar to specify the lapping distance. 40 (default) and 60 are common.
Rebar Diameter (rD): The calculator returns the rebar diameter in millimetres (mm). However, this can be automatically converted into compatible units via the pull-down menu.
