This Surface Area of a Polygon Based Column calculator computes the mass or weight of a column where the base is the area of a regular polygon with (n) equal sides of length (s), the height (h) of the column, and mean density of the substance of the column.

- n - the number of sides of the regular polygon
- s - the length of a side of the polygon

The formula for the surface area of a column with base and top of a regular polygon is:

where:
