The Volume of a Triangle Based Pyramid calculator computes the volume (V) of a pyramid with a triangle base that is defined by the length of the three triangle base sides (a,b,c) and height (h) from the base to the apex.
INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:
(a) Length of side a of the base of the pyramid.
(b) Length of side b of the base of the pyramid.
(c) Length of side c of the base of the pyramid.
(h) Height of the pyramid. This is the distance between the base and the top.
Pyramid Volume (V): The volume is returned in cubic meters. However, the user can automatically convert this to any of the other volume units (e.g. cubic feet, liters, or gallons) via the pull-down menu.
