The Reduced Temperature calculator computes the reduced temperature, one of a set of reduced properties of a fluid substance, defined by the ratio of the actual temperature (T) to the substance's critical temperature (T_c).  

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose the preferred temperature units and enter the following:

• (T) This is the actual measured temperature.
• (T_cr) This is the critical temperature for the substance.

Reduced Temperature (T_r): The calculator returns the reduced temperature in Kelvin.  However, this can be automatically converted to other temperature units via the pull-down menu.

NOTES

The reduced properties of a fluid are a set of state variables normalized by the fluid's state properties at the fluid's critical point.
