The Wallpaper for a Room calculator compute the number of rolls of wallpaper needed to cover the walls of a room based on the dimensions of the room and the rolls of wallpaper.

Rolls of Wallpaper (nWP): The calculator returns the number of rolls of wallpaper, the length of ceiling border, the total surface area of the room, and 32-oz liquid wallpaper adhesive tubs.
The Math / Science
Wallpaper covers the room from floor to ceiling on the walls. The boarder length is equal to the length that would go around the room where the walls meet the ceiling. The calculator computes the square feet of the room based on the dimensions, and then computes the number of rolls to cover the area.
Wallpaper is a common finishing of interior walls and sometime ceilings. 
Wallpaper comes in rolls and often has printed patterns or graphics. These rolls are applied to walls via glue that is applied to the wall before the wallpaper is applied.
The sizes of rolls varies. In the United States and Canada, rolls are often:
- 27" x 27' (60.75 ft2)
- 20.5" x 33' (56.3 ft2)
- 20.5" x 18' (30.75 ft2)
In Europe, they are commonly 52 centimeters wide and 10 meters long.
The materials used in modern wallpaper also varies with pre-pasted vinyl coated paper commonly found. Wallpaper can also be found using linen, silk, grass cloth and pressed leaves.
Wallpaper must go on clean surfaces or it will not remain in place and begin to peal. Because of moisture, wallpaper may not be suitable in steamy environments such as a bathroom.
