vCalc Holidays

vCalc provides twelve paid company holidays for full time employees.  Ten (10) are scheduled and two (2) are floating.  If any of the scheduled holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday, the employee is at liberty to take the holiday on an adjacent weekday.

The ten scheduled holidays are:

1. New Year’s Day (January 1st)
2. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 15th)
3. Good Friday
4. Memorial Day
5. July 4th
6. Labor Day
7. Thanksgiving
8. The day following Thanksgiving
9. Christmas Eve
10. Christmas

Holiday time becomes available on the day of the holiday.  Holiday time may not be carried over to the following year.  Any unused holiday time as of December 31st will be lost.  Scheduling of the two floating holidays is subject to advance approval by the employee's supervisor.
