INSTRUCTIONS: Choose your preferred units and enter the following:

  • (r)  This is the radius of the circular orbit.
  • (T) This is the period of the circular orbit.

Velocity: The calculator returns the magnitude of velocity in meters per second.  However, this can be automatically converted into other velocity units via the pull-down menu.
