The Speed of Wave equation calculates the speed of a given periodic wave using the frequency(f), and the wavelength(`lambda`).

INSTRUCTIONS: Enter the following:

  • (f) Frequency
  • (`lambda`) Wavelength

Speed of the wave(v): The equation returns the speed of the wave(v) in meters per second. However, this can be automatically converted to other force units via the pull-down menu.
