When two bodies are in contact with each other a resistive force comes into play that slows down the motion. This is called friction. A force is exerted to the object to cause friction can either be frictional force or Normal force

Normal Force can therefore be calculated as:-

Normal Force=F/

Where,

F = frictional force

friction coefficient,

N = Normal Force.
