=Virtual Dice
(nS)Number of Sides on Dice
(n)Number of Rolls

The Virtual Dice calculator allows you to roll a custom dice with as many faces as you specify.  It returns a value between 1 and the number you specify for each roll.

INSTRUCTIONS: Enter the following:

  • (nS) Number of Sides on Dice
  • (n) Number of Rolls of the Dice

Virtual Dice Rolls: The calculator returns a random number between 1 and the number specified (nS) for the number of rolls chosen (n).

The Math / Science

The Virtual Dice tool allows you to roll a dice with the number of sides you select (e.g., 2 or 2 million).  It will then generate a random number between 1 and number you specified.  You can also get several rolls at once.  The default number of rolls is one (1).  However, you can specify any number of rolls up to 20, and the calculator will return that many random numbers between one and the number you specified.  Have fun.

To roll repeatedly, just click the refresh icon to the left of the output field which displays your roll: reset icon.
