FTE Hours

This equation helps you figure out how many hours a part-time employee works.  This equation will compute your choice of  hours/week or hours/year and uses your choice of a fraction of a Full Time Equivalent (FTE).

Inputs to this equation are:

• Fraction of FTE (example: .1 FTE, .2 FTE, .3 FTE ... 1.0 FTE
• Choice of Hours/Week or Hours/Year

** Note this is based on an FTE being 2,080 hours a year
