The Distance (Velocity Vector, Time) calculator computes the distance vector (X) displaced by an object traveling based on a velocity vector (Vx, Vy, Vz) for a period of time (t).

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:

  • (t)   This is the duration of the travel.
  • (Vx)  This is the X component of the velocity vector.
  • (Vy)  This is the Y component of the velocity vector.
  • (Vz)  This is the Z component of the velocity vector.
  • (uO) Choose the output units for the distance vector X.
    • centimeters (cm), meters (m), kilometers (km), inches (in), feet (ft), miles (mi) and nautical miles (nmi)

Distance Vector (X): The distance vector is returned in the units specified in the oU parameter.
