The amount of sales or revenues generated per dollar of assets. The Asset Turnover ratio is an indicator of the efficiency with which a company is deploying its assets. This ratio is the relationship between net sales and average total asset.

Notes

Net Sales is defined as the amount of sales generated by a company after the deduction of returns, allowances for damaged or missing goods and any discounts allowed. The sales number reported on a company's financial statements is a net sales number, reflecting these deductions.

Average Total Assets is the current  total asset  plus  the total asset from previous year divided by 2.
