The Electrical Current calculator computes the current based on Ohm's Law using Power (P) and Resistance (R).

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:

  • (P) Power
  • (R) Resistance

Electrical Current (I): The calculator returns the electrical current in amperes (amps).  However, this can be automatically converted to other electric current units via the pull-down menu.

The Ohms Law formula for current based on resistance and power is:
