The Current from Potential and Resistance calculator computes the current based on Ohm's Law using electrical Resistance (R) and Potential (V).

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:

  • (V) Potential (voltage).
  • (R) Resistance.

Electrical Current: The calculator returns the electrical current in amperes (amps).  However, this can be automatically converted to other electric current units via the pull-down menu.
