The Total Mixed Cost calculator computes the total mixed cost based on the fixed costs (FC) , the variable cost per guest (VCG) and the number of guests (N).
INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:
- (FC) Fixed Costs
- (VCG) Variable Cost per Guest.
- (N) Number of Guests.
Total Mixed Cost (TMC): The calculator returns the cost in US dollars. However this can be automatically converted to other currencies via the pull-down menu.
The Math / Science
A mixed cost is a cost that contains both a fixed component and a variable component. The formula for the Total Mixed Cost is:
TMC=FC+(VCG ⋅ N)
where:
- TMC = Total Mixed Cost
- FC = Fixed Costs
- VCG = Variable Cost per Guest
- N = Number of Guests
